Sweetwater Bearded Collies
We live in Michigan and have had Bearded Collies in our lives since 1982. Once a Beardie joined our family we've never had another breed. BC and Humphrey were raised with our three sons. Our kennel is named after our cottage in Northern Michigan- Sweetwater. Our dogs love running the shore of Lake Michigan. Our Beardies enjoy our 5 young grandchildren and traveling in Larry's big red van. We have been lucky enough to travel from coast to coast with our dogs.
We are active members of The Bearded Collie Club of America and of The Great Lakes Bearded Collie Club. We have been so grateful to place our Bearded Collie puppies in wonderful homes and to have made many new friends along the way. Our Bearded Collie puppies have completed titles in obedience, rally. therapy, Canine Good Citizen, herding instinct and noseworks.
We show our dogs in both the US and Canada. I have been doing Therapy work with my dogs for the past 13 years. Thanks to Betsy Bernock at www.greatamericandogs.com for helping us train for therapy, obedience and rally. We love raising our litters of Bearded Collie puppies!
